Test Rules, Descriptions, and Irregularities:
- As of right now, all tests are mutliple choice except for:
Number Sense, Calculator, Liberal Arts Sense, Geometry, and Advanced Topics.
- Number Sense and Calculator will be written by Clements MAO Members and in UIL format and style. UIL rules will apply except for Calculator where you will have twenty, not thirty minutes.
- Speed Trivia is a test of general trivia knowledge and speed.
- Liberal Arts Sense is a test in the format of Number Sense but with Liberal Arts (humanities and social sciences) questions instead of mental math questions.
- Math Stuff test contains random math questions covering a variety of topics.
- "Friends" Trivia and "Harry Potter/Lord of
the Rings/Matrix" Trivia are trivia tests about the respective television show and book/movie.
- For Math and Science Team Test and Trivia Team Test, please keep teams to a maximum of 4 people. Each school may have as many teams as they wish.
- For Math Bowl Team Test, each school may only send one 4-person team. This test will be in the buzz-in and answer format (with all questions related to math).
- Spelling Bee is a good ol' fashioned spelling bee. We give you the word, and you spell the word. Open to all competitors.
- Advanced Topics may include any math subject after Calculus I & II.
Notes on Open/Closed Tests:
- Do not choose a test labeled Closed unless you are currently enrolled in the corresponding courses in the following table:

- If you are not enrolled in any of the courses mentioned in the above table, you must register for a test labeled Open.
